The MEMAS system is a Life Mastering Assistant or a cognitive aid that is suitable for people with MCI.
The MEMAS system is usable by both primary and secondary users. The primary user is the person with MCI who physically owns a device with a MEMAS client, and who uses MEMAS as an aid to organize their everyday life. Secondary users are relatives and others in the support system around the primary user, who assist with this in various ways.
Registering as a secondary user
To set up the MEMAS system for use, first register an account for yourself at this website (Adminweb.no). Click on "Log in" in the upper right corner and select the tab "Create new account". Fill in the following:
- All first names
- Surname
- Email address
- Username
- Password (twice)
- Secret word (will be given to you by your contact – this is to stop outsiders from self registrating).
Adding a Memas user
After having logged in as a secondary user, you may add the Memas user. This is also known as a "primary user", and is the senior with MCI who is going to use the device running the Memas app.
Click on "Users and access" in the main menu, and then on the link: "Add Memas-user".
The fields of the account are the same as those for the secondary user:
- All first names
- Surname
- Email address
- Username
- Password (twice)
